With great regret and sorrow we want to let everyone know of the passing of Mr. Sankari Prasad Brahmachari.
He was visiting us (his daughter Somtapa, grandchild Prokriti and son-in-law Abhinaba) at their home in Sammamish, WA. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of April 1st, 2015 due to a heart blockage. He was active till his last day, planning yard work and other daring stuff like going onto the roof, the day before.
He was a loving father, caring husband, over-protective grandfather but over all a friend to all.
From him we learnt what the true meaning of unconditional love is and to never leave anything for the next day. He could equally share a joke with his brothers, childhood classmates and friends of his nephews.
The world is a less merrier place without him. He could lighten up any serious situation and bring smiles on the face of anyone who was worried and down. In that light, we would like to think that this is his way of pranking us on April fools.
Please leave comments below in his remembrance.
Always ready for work. Working on the yard path 2 days back with Abhinaba
and equally ready to play
Though he always felt a bit cold…
he spread warmth to everyone around…
Even when he is gone the fruits of his work is visible around our home. The roses he lovingly worked on blossomed beautiful flowers. |

Buju Kaku....always the prankster...the jolliest person in the family. Witty and ready with comebacks so funny that even the most serious person would break into a grin. It seemed that he was often irreverent, but he never mocked the weak or vulnerable. He was ever ready to help and went out of his way to do so. Mostly he never waited to be asked.
ReplyDeleteBuju kaku, tumi aamader kao ke tomar jonno kichhu korte dile na.....you slipped away and I bet you're up there having the last laugh at all of us....
